Reese's Birthday

When Reese woke up this morning Mommy and Daddy were still in bed (it's a late start, so why get up?!) We called him in to our room and told him Happy Birthday, and asked how old he was. He said he was two, but we told him that now he was three. He didn't believe us at first and declared "No, I'm not, I start with R!" Ok, Reese, whatever, go play. . .  By mid-morning I had him pretty well convinced that he was three and we worked on holding up three fingers to show.

Grandma Dianne came in the late morning so that she would watch the boys while mommy and baby brother had their nonstress test later in the afternoon, and to help celebrate Reese's birthday since Daddy was gone all evening for a Wrestling Meet. After lunch the boys helped me make Reese's birthday cake!

After a yummy supper we finally got to sing happy birthday and EAT the cake!

He even got to open a fun card and a little birthday gift from Mommy and Daddy!

He got a little tractor with a trailer to hook up and a combine to pick some corn. He told us he was picking white corn! Then he would unload it into the trailer for the tractor to haul away, complete with sound effects!
