Chocolate Easter Bunny!

Of course Clayton, Reese and Wyatt got big chocolate Easter bunnies as a treat from grandparents. It was Wyatt's first time, so I had to get some video like I did for Clayton and Reese the first time they ate Chocolate bunnies back in 2013

It's safe to say that he enjoyed it!

I can't believe I let him eat that much of it!

Day Before Easter Snow

It snowed on the Saturday before Easter and the flakes were huge and fluffy! The boys thought it was fun to watch and Wyatt was especially excited, jabbering and pointing, telling us all about it!

I even took Wyatt out to check it out. But it was a very wet snow and he knelt down and got wet and then he was done!

In the afternnoon, Daddy took Clayton and Reese to meet up with their cousins and even a 2nd cousin (Fiona is Wyatt's age) for the Gresham Easter Egg hunt

All the kids at the hunt with the Easter bunny
Wyatt and I stayed home for the hunt since it was during nap time, but we headed out to the farm later where everyone was hanging out, just in time to say good-bye to cousins Ava, Quin and Kolby as they were leaving. So all the Branz Great-Grandkids were together for the first time, if only for 10 min. Just long enough to snap a wiggly picture!

Busy Saturday Part 2

After a good nap from Wyatt we headed to Lincoln to check out the Lincoln Children's Zoo! It was a quick visit, but we packed in as much as we could. Wyatt really enjoyed the experience! Grandpa Mark and Grandma Dianne met us there.

Our first stop was a new play area with a big slide, a giant empty turtle shell for kids to climb in and a parrot. Wyatt was really pointing and talking all about the parrot until he cawed too loudly and then he startled and cried. "Ok, Clayton and Reese time to move on to the next thing, your brother's had enough of the parrot!"

Clayton took Wyatt down the slide

Turtle!

Grandpa and Wyatt next to the scary parrot.

"Look! a parrot"

Next stop, the penguins. They weren't busy doing anything, but there were two out sunning themselves by the glass and Wyatt had a lot to say about that too. You could even tell he was trying to say penguin!

Reese feeding a goat even though he didn't like it

My silly boys!

One of Clayton's favorite was the camels

They all enjoyed touching a snake

Wyatt even chased a turtle around for a while since one of the ladies was cleaning out his cage for the night.

After the Zoo, we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house for supper and to play in the dirt!

Clayton and Reese learned how to make tunnels with Grandpa Mark

Wyatt tried to help in the garden!

Busy Saturday Part 1

Last Saturday when Darrel was out of town for a track meet, mommy and the boys never slowed down, we were always on the move. (Except during Wyatt's afternoon nap)! We started the morning with a really nice visit to the Children's Museum. Clayton and Reese had so much fun including Wyatt in their play. Wyatt loved it too of course, it was a red letter day for him I'm sure!

Working hard with those Safety googles on upsidedown

Nothing but sheer joy on Wyatt's face getting to go down the slide with his brothers!

All three playing together in the toy car:

I'm highly amused by this video. . . watch for Wyatt!

Stay tuned for part 2, coming soon!

Palm Sunday Weekend

The Saturday before Palm Sunday Mommy and Daddy had tickets to a show in Omaha and made an overnight of it, so the kids got some grandparent time in. Clayton and Reese stayed with the Branz grandparents and Wyatt stayed with the Petersen Grandparents.

Wyatt helped Grandpa Mark install child safety locks on their kitchen. What a good and cute little helper!

Loving on Grandma's little Pooh (I was told he even said "Pooh" when he saw it!)

He even worked on some soccer skills there!

Clayton and Reese stayed busy by visiting Lost in Fun with Grandma on Saturday, and then Chucky Cheese on Sunday. They had a blast!

So worn out they feel asleep on the way home - success!
