Brothers

Saturday morning the boys and I spent some time at the park. I was pushing them really high in the swings and I just love how they look over at each other and smile and laugh together. I'm so grateful that they have each other!

eye contact

In his defense these swings do face right into the sun

Clayton's face says "why are you taking a picture of this mom?"

Happy Easter

We spent Easter today with Grandpa Mark, Grandma Dianne and Aunt Amy. The day was awesomely fun, but unfortunately ended bloody with a a little head split on Clayton. Of course these types of injuries seem so scary because the scalp can sure bleed a lot, but Daddy (who got the best look at it) assures me that it's not deep and it did not take long at all to stop the bleeding. He was just so tired, and playing so hard, that he fell and his head hit the xylophone he was pushing around.

Clayton modeling Daddy's make shift bandaid! (it came off in the car on the way home. . . oh well)

I promise he was happy despite the tiredness for most of the day!
Looking at himself while I take the picture on my phone. . . mouth happily stuffed with candy

On the hunt

Figuring out their new power tools - Bubble Blasters!

I'll try to keep everyone updated on Clayton's poor little head. . .  I'm really surprised that I don't have an injury report for Reese too! He tried climbing a set of shelves and pulled them all down, besides a few red marks on his side, he escaped the incident unscathed! If I had to guess, I'd say he faired better since he took a nap after church on the way to Lincoln! haha!

Just had to take a picture with his leg crossed that, so cute!

Oh! And I totally didn't get any pictures of them in their fancy Easter Sunday outfits, but here is from Saturday when I tried them on to see what would work, no shoes, but still sweet!

Grandpa's Here!

Last weekend after we went to the Zoo we went back to Grandma and Grandpa's house. Clayton was out digging in the dirt, when an awesome thing happened (if you're three that is).

What sent him running from happily digging in the dirt, you wonder?
Grandpa's HOME from work of course

So glad I was up on the deck playing the zoom on Grandma's fancy camera and was able to capture this sweet moment!

Pictures from the zoo

The boys, Grandma Dianne, Aunt Amy and mommy had a lot of fun at the Zoo this weekend in Lincoln. It was very busy (opening weekend) but a beautiful day and the boys had so much fun. I don't know what they enjoy more, seeing the different animals, or stopping to play and climb and the different places along the path. It is the perfect Children's Zoo!

I think this is the best picture in the history of ever!
