7 weeks old!

I can't believe Wyatt is going to be 7 weeks old already tomorrow. I was just going to make a post when he was 6 weeks old but never got around to it. According to our bathroom scale he is about 8.5 lbs. He is fitting nicely into size 1 diapers and 0-3 month sized clothes.

Mommy/Baby Selfie! 

From the day after he ate 10 times in one day ... I just wanted to show the little double chin he was getting from eating so much! (Taken 3/25)

I've been wearing him and he really likes it. He especially seems to love having a cozy hat on his head. I swear he looked up at me and smiled after I put this hat on him, so I tried to get a picture of a smile, but no such luck. (Taken 3/25)

He has been doing a great job of just laying on the floor or in his pack'n'play on his back and just hangs out there like that for long periods of time, and will even put himself to sleep that way, no swaddle required. When he's not hungry he is a very content baby! (knock on wood). He is sleeping soundly in his pack'n'play right now.

New use for the Swing and Slide

Spring is here and our outside toys seem brand new again. The boys are older and finding new and creative ways to enjoy their swing set yesterday.

Playing in a Box

Clayton and Reese playing in a box this afternoon over and Grandma and Papa's house! One of the funniest things I've ever seen!

Clayton's Last Wrestling Practice

Clayton has been doing Little Kids Wrestling for the past couple months, and even though we didn't have him enter into any competitions, he still really enjoyed going to practices and has learned all kinds of great skills. He can do jumping jacks fairly well, and push ups too. He is an expert at all sorts of crawls, army crawl, bear crawl, and crab walk! He even knows some basic wrestling language and can do the moves if you tell him too.

At their last practice on Monday, March 2nd all the kids got a match. So here is Clayton's first wrestling match!

1 Month Old

Wyatt is a month old already (yesterday). He had his checkup today and he is growing great. He is up to 7lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. He does pretty well at night, sometimes even going 5 hours between feedings. He has had a couple of rough nights, but nothing too bad. He's only a week past his due date, so I know that could change in the next week or two, so I'll try to enjoy it now. He's really just so sweet!

As you can imagine, it's three times harder to get a good picture of all the boys together! I'll have to work on my photo shop skills I think!

Family Walk

We went for our first family walk together yesterday afternoon. It was a short one, to the middle school and back. The boys loved to help push Wyatt in his stroller!

Playing Dinosaurs

The boys played dinosaurs with daddy on Tuesday. Reese was growling, trying to scare Wyatt (he was sitting on my lap). They played nicely for a while, and then for some odd reason, Lacey (the cat) decided to lay down in the middle of the floor. Crazy cat!

3 Weeks Old

Wyatt is three weeks old now! According to our bathroom scale he may weigh almost 7.5 lbs already! You can really tell he is filling out and growing, and pretty soon we are going to have to say "goodbye" to the newborn sized clothes and pull out the 0-3 month sizes.

Sweetly sleeping

Clayton and Wyatt had some "tummy time" together this afternoon. Wyatt is so strong, he was able to rotate himself 90 degrees on the blanket before Clayton came to join him.
