Spring Time Weather

Clayton hopes that the good weather is here to stay this time. Thursday afternoon we enjoyed some time outside together. (Not last night because it was so windy!) I, of course, did not pass up the opportunity to try to take some cute photos!

Please note that those are 12 Month clothes he is wearing, and they fit him just great! I bought a few shirts and some shorts for him at WalMart and had to shop in the TODDLER SECTION!! My little baby is growing up too fast!

First Words?

So, last night Darrel and I both swear that Clayton said "up" !! He was playing with the toy lap top my parents got him for Christmas and there is a "mouse" (like actually the animal) and when you move it up or down the computer says "up" or "down." Right after he pushed the mouse and she said "up" Clayton said it too. We couldn't get him to do it again... I don't know if it counts or not??

He has also been saying what sounds like "key" for kitty for quite a while (like maybe three weeks or so) when we see our cats. We always tell him to say "here kitty, kitty, kitty" and he just goes "keeey keey keey" with extra emphasis on the kkkkk... I don't know if that counts or not??

For about a week and half now he will be in his walker or on the floor and will start yelling/crying "ma ma ma ma ma ma" until I come get him. I mean who else is really going to come get him? So it could just be a sound, or he could think that is me... I don't know if that counts or not??

For now I guess I just make note of it and see what happens next! :)

From a Week Ago...

Here is a video from last Thursday. We were at Campus Lutheran still when I was done working for the day, and Aaron (the Resident Manager at CL this school year) had a plastic tube from a roll of plastic table cloth. He was blowing through it to see what Oso's (his dog) reaction would be and then he started tickling Clayton with it!

Play Date!

My friend Christina, from when I worked at the Buckle was pregnant at the same time as me and her son Eoghen (said Owen) was born a month before Clayton. Last night she came over with him for a little bit to see if the boys would play together. They kind of did... Clayton just stared in amazement as Eoghen army crawled all around the room, but Eoghen looked kind of jealous that Clayton could move around in his walker with ease. I think Clayton will have to beef up a bit to start crawling like that!

Funny Kitties

You'll have to turn up your volume a little... Darrel was holding Clayton and pointing the laser pointer around for the cats to chase and Clayton thought it was just hysterical and laughed at them for quite a while.
