My mom and sister Amy and I took both boys to the Lincoln Children's Zoo this morning. We went in May for the first time if you recall. Today was a beautiful morning - warm sunshine, no wind - it was great! The boys were sort of crabby from a late night and an early morning (Clayton woke up at 6am!) but did enjoy themselves. Reese was very interested in the Lemurs during their feeding time, and they were fun to watch. I think Clayton's favorites were the camels, one little monkey we saw and the flamingos. He also really enjoyed a little play area that included a large mountain of dirt. . .
This time we took some pictures in egg shells
We also went a train ride around the zoo this time. Both boys were very tired, but I think they still enjoyed it!
We could barely keep the boys awake in the car from the zoo to Village Inn for lunch! They were out by the time we made it back to my parent's house to load our luggage. They slept the whole way home!
This evening however, it was discovered that a abnormally crabby Reese had a low grade fever, about 101. Poor baby has never been sick before - so it was a lukewarm bath and a little Tylenol and then off to bed with him. Hopefully he will feel a little better tomorrow.
