Well the stats are in, and this cute little baby boy weighs a whopping 10 lbs 11 oz already! And he's 22 3/4 inches long. He's starting to creep up off the 25th% tile and is heading towards the 50th.

Wyatt isn't doing too much in the way of cooing or smiling a lot yet, but he was 3 weeks early so I'm not concerned yet. He is starting to smile a little bit just in the past day or two. He was very smiley and happy right before the nurse had to come and give him his shots. He even smiled at her after she gave him the vaccination they have to drink (it's mostly sugar water, so he probably enjoyed it!). It broke mommy's heart to see him get poked (and to hear is reaction), but he was so sweet about it and stopped crying right away after I picked him up.
We are working on him sleeping in the crib in his own room instead of Mommy and Daddy's room, and he seems to be doing great with it. He usually only wakes up once or twice to eat in the night and seems to know that night time is for sleeping. So far he has been an extremely content baby with just a few random exceptions.
And here's a picture from yesterday in some Husker gear! We seem to have a lot in this size since Clayton was born in the fall. Mommy thought Wyatt could still wear it even if there was no game to cheer for today!
