Pumpkin Carving!
We've never done this before so I wasn't sure how it would go... the end result was great, and Clayton really enjoyed himself but Reese did not want to participate! :( After much cajoling to get him to reach in and get dirty, he said in a sad little voice. "I can't do this mommy, I'm sorry." And got down from the table. Wow, kid! I felt sorry for the poor little boy!
Look, seeds! I plan to roast them, yum! |
Of Course, Daddy had to do all the actual hard work of carving the pumpkins! |

Scissor Lift
Before we went to the Pumpkin patch on Sunday afternoon, the boys enjoyed playing with some of Grandpa Mark's "toys." They went on a little 4-wheeler ride of course, and then got to ride in the scissor life. Yes that's right, they got to take trips up and down with Grandpa, how silly!
JK's Pumpkin Patch!
Clayton and Reese enjoyed a HOT (86 degrees!) and fun trip to JK's Pumpkin Patch on Sunday afternoon with Mommy, Grandpa Mark, Grandma Dianne and Aunt Amy. Here's all the crazy fun we had!

Swing and Drop!
Ok, so this is from mid-July... I'm just going through and trying to clean up some video on my phone, and I found this little gem that I hadn't uploaded yet.... so cute!
I just had to lift them up to grab the rings on the swing set, they would swing for a while and then drop down. We spent a lot of time giggling about this one as they thought it was so funny to fall down like that!

I Don't Have to Re-name the Blog!
One of the first things Darrel and I thought of after we found out we were having another boy (after the fact that we wouldn't need any girl clothes or be tempted to buy pink blankets, car seats, etc. YAY!) is that we don't have to think of a new name for the blog!! Branz Boys will still work for our THREE boys!
There were ultrasound pictures in the Reveal Video but here they are again, and some better shots of his face from my actual anatomy scan that I had the Monday after Clayton's party.
I will also be having another ultrasound later on, since they found a Echogenic Intracardiac Focus on his heart. It sounds scary, but it's really not a big deal at all. It's basically a bright spot that shows up on the ultrasound, probably a mineral deposit that will go away as he continues to develop and grow. They just have to check it again later to make sure that it goes away. All four chambers are there and functioning, we just get another peak with the ultrasound later on!

A great shot of his face since he finally moved his arm down! Still has an elbow right under his neck though. |

Well, it's Fall!
Also, last Wednesday afternoon we filled the season's first giant pumpkin bag full of leaves from our front yard. We all had a blast raking and scooping leaves up! As big as the bag is, you couldn't even tell we'd removed any leaves from the yard... oh well! We were occupied!
